My latest story, “Dustbowl Detective,” is appearing in the anthology Solar Flare from renowned editors Patricia Bray and Joshua Palmatier. My story is a futuristic crime story set in a world ravaged by climate change, set in my Inflection Point universe. Follow the link above for more details.
“Bitter Days” Launches
Bitter Days, the latest book in the Thousand Kingdoms series, debuted today. It’s the first in the “Pageeda & Scuffee” sub-series, a coming-of-age story about an orphan girl and her exotic cat companion.
Plotting Workshop Debuts
My latest workshop, “Plotting Made Easy,” debuted at the Hourlings First Annual Workshop Day. It was just one session of a 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM scheduled event put on by the Hourlings Writing Group and organized by Donna Royston.
“Fantastic Detectives” Launches
Fantastic Detectives, the new anthology from editors Donna Royston and myself launched today. The new volume contains a Baker’s Dozen of fantasy/crime stories from an international set of authors. Includes my novelette, “Jonelle Crosse,” set in my Thousand Kingdoms setting.
Season Three of the Hourlings Podcast Project Debuts
Season Three of the Hourlings Podcast Project launched today. The first episode of the season is 2023 Goals, which is technically the 117th episode overall.
Capclave Workshop Coordinator
I have been asked, and have accepted, the honor of being the Workshop Coordinator for Capclave for both the 2023 and 2024 conventions. This means I’ll be seeking top-notch workshops for this awesome and long-running literary convention.
